  "The Sadness Collector" by Merlinda Bobis   It is a tale about a little girl named Rica who has issues growing up with her dad, since her mom works as an OFW domestic helper.  The plot structure is about the losing of a home by some major reasons, such a separation of each other. There are many children who can relate the story. Many parents want to provide good life to their children and their solution is to be a domestic helper. It is usually seen as a solution of poverty.  The OFW's chose to go abroad and leave their loved ones to provide their families' needs. This story teaches a lot of moral lessons that the children can get and applied to their selves.
